The Acton Agricultural Society & The Acton Fall Fair have been a part of the community for over 110 years, and there are many different ways to help out! Check out the tabs below to find out how you can get involved!

Join Our Ag. Society!

Are you someone who enjoys helping others and enriching your community? Want to learn new skills, and meet new people?

Our membership meets on the second Tuesday of each month (February-November) at 7:30pm in the Dufferin Centre Boardroom. Members help with organizing our annual fall fair; you can help with as much or as little as your schedule allows!

There is an annual membership fee of $10.00 which covers your insurance and weekend admission to the fair.

Join Our Junior Board

Are you under 18, looking to make new friends, and help out in your community? Come check out our Junior Fair Board!

Our Junior Fair board is for everyone in our community aged 9-18 who want to help make the annual Fall Fair fun and exciting for people of all ages! We meet the second week of each month from 6:30pm to 8 pm in the boardroom of The Dufferin Centre. As a member of our Junior Fair Board, you will get to learn about the behind-the-scenes workings of the Acton Fall Fair. Over the weeks leading up to the fair, you will also get to help organize a special Junior Board event to take place on fair weekend; planning everything from concept to execution with your fellow board members! During Fair weekend, we also help within many areas of the fair.

We are a volunteer group with an annual $5.00 membership fee to cover your entrance to the fair and the insurance but, high school students are able to earn their volunteer hours with us. The Junior Fair Board is a great place to meet new people, build up self confidence with your peers, and help your community with our very dedicated members!

Looking to help out with the fair but can’t help throughout the year? Come volunteer with us on Fair Weekend!

We are looking for many volunteers to help with the annual fall fair! Volunteers can help with the set up & take down of the fair, and/or can help on fair weekend keeping everything running smoothly!

Volunteering is a great way to get involved with the community and, high school students can earn their volunteer hours with us!
